PROSEU at H2020 contractors' workshop on social sciences and humanities

How can Horizon 2020 social sciences and humanities projects collaborate to empower consumers and citizens, while putting them at the heart of the Energy Transition? A question two representatives of PROSEU explored together with four other on-going EU-funded projects on similar subjetcts during a "clustering event" which took place on 9 October 2018 at INEA's premises in Brussels.

The event was entitled "H2020 Contractors' Workshop on Social Sciences and Humanities". On this occasion, representatives of the European Commission, INEA and EASME explained the background in which the related calls for proposals had been drafted and what they expected from the resulting projects. One of the main aims is to empower consumers and citizens, as well as bring them to the centre of the energy transition.

Apart from PROSEU, representatives of the following H2020 projects were present at the workshop:

Their coordinators presented the objectives and activities of their projects and work package leaders shared their plans and achievements concerning dissemination and exploitation of results. Participants had an animated discussion on possible synergies between the different projects, joint events, policy recommendations and other mutual dissemination suppor.

Photos from the event can be found on PROSEU's Flickr account.

The PROSEU Website is already linking to those and other "sister projects" in its Resources section. An Article about the launch of PROSEU was published on the ENERGISE Website and a general article about the project will soon appear in the ENABLE.EU Newsletter.
