Second project meeting taking place in Leeds

The second project meeting of the PROSEU Project is taking place in Leeds, UK, on 6-7 November 2018. It is hosted by our project partner University of Leeds. The aim of the meeting is to take stock of the progress to date 8 months after the project was launched. It's main focus is on discussing the Living Labs, a task lead by project partner ICLEI Europe. There was an update about the selection procedure agreed on, as well as feedback on first contacts with collectives of RES prosumers. This issue was also discussed with members of the project's Advisory Board. Two sessions with external experts are planned, one about research ideas (with Jeff Hardy from the Grantham Institute for Climate change and the environment at the Imperial College of London) and one about the use of crowdfunding for renewable energy projects (with Bruce Davis, who has worked as an Anthropologist studying the use of money and energy in the UK and founder of Abundance, which uses crowdfunding to finance renewable energy projects in the UK).
